EC 1223/2009, The Cosmetics Regulation
The current EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC 1223/2009) focuses primarily on human safety. The Product Safety Report (PSR) requires documentation of ingredient safety, microbiological safety, and labeling compliance, but does not currently mandate an Environmental Risk Assessment (ERA) as a standalone PSR component.
